Escape to 173 Culnacraig, a beautifully refurbished croft house standing proudly at the foot of the magnificent Ben Mor Coigach. Here, on the wild, mountainous coastline of Loch Broom, you’ll find a truly unspoilt retreat from the modern world.
Our cottage is part of the tiny, remote hamlet of Culnacraig, just 5 miles from Achiltibuie in the North West Highlands of Scotland. This is a place of peace, enchantment, and staggering natural beauty. From your window, drink in the stunning, ever-changing views over the Summer Isles to the west and the iconic mountains of Wester Ross.

173 Culnacraig isn’t just a cottage; it’s a gateway to one of the last great wildernesses in Europe. The house itself is remotely and beautifully situated, the last of only four houses in the tranquil Culnacraig valley. You’ll find us at the end of a half-mile track (house 173 was named for being the last croft in this corner of the Coigach peninsula), with nothing between you, the mountains, and the sea.
This is a place of profound peace and special beauty, formally recognised as part of the Scottish Wildlife Trust’s Ben Mor Coigach Reserve and the North West Highlands Geopark. The waters of Loch Broom, visible from the house, are also protected within the Wester Ross Marine Protection Area.
