Important Information for Your Stay

What to Bring

  • Duvets, pillows, and extra blankets are provided.

  • Guests must bring their own bed linen (sheets, duvet covers, pillowcases), towels, and tea towels.

Cottage Facilities

  • The cottage is well-equipped with electric heaters in each bedroom, an iron, ironing board, hoover, digital radio, maps, and local guidebooks.

  • Please note: There is no television or telephone.

  • Free Wi-Fi broadband is available, and mobile phones generally have a good signal.

Pets

  • We welcome a maximum of two well-behaved dogs by prior arrangement. As Culnacraig is a crofting hamlet, dogs must be kept under control at all times due to grazing sheep.

Smoking

  • 173 Culnacraig is a no-smoking property.

Water & Environment

  • Our water comes from a mountain stream and is fully purified. We use an organic peat filtration system for wastewater. To protect it, we ask guests to use only the biodegradable cleaning materials (which we supply).

Be Prepared

Weather

The weather in the NW Highlands is famously changeable! We strongly advise packing warm layers, full waterproofs, and good footwear for walking on rough terrain.
